Users who have permission to manage the web site have the ability to control properties at the site level. This tutorial gives you an overview of each of the fields within the details and marketing tabs of the site properties.
In order to access the site details, click the Settings link in the top navigation and select “Site Configuration” from the menu.
Under the Details tab you may enter important data about the web site. Each of the labels contains helpful text. Hold your cursor over the label for tips on how to enter appropriate content.
This is a unique, internal name for the site.
This is the title of the site and will be displayed in the browser’s title bar.
This is a brief description of the site and will appear as the Meta Description for any page without its own Meta Description or Summary.
This will appear before the Title in the browser’s title bar.
This will appear after the Title in the browser’s title bar.
This field contains the location of custom documentation for the site.
This field contains the character that will separate items in the breadcrumb navigation on the public web site.
This sets the default browser type for which the site is designed.
This sets the default template to use when a new page is created.
Check this box to enable the full site search.
Check this box to make the web site available to public users. Please note: if this is unchecked, users will NOT be able to view the public web site.
Check this box to enable debug functions. For production web sites, the recommended setting is unchecked.
Check this box to allow the site to use browser caching to optimize site performance. Please note: some users may see outdated content until his or her browser cache expires.
The content in this field will appear in the Meta Keywords tag on each page before any keywords assigned on the page level.

Google Analytics is a free web traffic reporting tool that allows you to track a variety of information about your web site's visitors. If you already have an account, you may insert your tracking code into this field and the necessary HTML code will be added to the site to allow Google to gather user data.
