- What's New in QuantumCMS 4.1?
— With QuantumCMS 4.1 we decided to rock the boat, but we didn't tip it over. Below is a breakdown of the changes and new features that you will find in the latest release.
- QuantumCMS 4.1 Sneak Peek: Site-Wide Linked Pages
— Many of our users are already familiar with the Linked Pages feature of QuantumCMS. In short, it allows you to take a page from deep within your site (or anywhere in your site) and elevate it to a place of prominence, such as a box on the home page or as cross-sell information on a page about a product or service.
- QuantumCMS 4.1 Sneak Peek: Unpublished Pages in the Tree
— The tree within QuantumCMS is the simplest way to view and manage your site. You can see all the pages within the site, the types of pages (Document, File, Redirection, etc.), and the overall structure of the site.
- QuantumCMS 4.1 Sneak Peek: Custom Forms
— Hopefully as users of QuantumCMS 4 you are all already aware of the Custom Form Builder. This form allows you to build one or multi-screen forms to gather information from your site visitors. Many of your sites use this feature for your contact form.
- QuantumCMS 4.1 Sneak Peek: File Manager
— We've listened to your feedback about the file manager and made some changes. Right off the bat, you should notice clearer icons in the file manager pane, making it more obvious what each function is.
- QuantumCMS 4.1 Sneak Peek: Dashboard Settings
— If you were reading at the beginning of February, you may have seen the Sneak Peek of our new Dahsboard. If not, take a quick look.
- QuantumCMS 4.1 Sneak Peek: Page Drafts and History
— If you are a regular user of QuantumCMS 4, then you may already be aware of our History feature. With this feature you can view, and ultimately restore to, any previously saved version of a page.
- QuantumCMS 4.1 Sneak Peek: Page Security
— As many of you already know, QuantumCMS allows you to quickly and easily secure pages of your site from the general public. Many of our clients use this feature to build intranets, client extranets, sections for board members, or just lock down a page for sharing with a specific person for a little while.
- QuantumCMS 4.1 Sneak Peek: Page Details
— This screen shot shows what you would see when you choose to edit a page in QuantumCMS 4.1. The buttons and tabs have been cleaned up, some icons updated, and some space reclaimed.
- QuantumCMS 4.1 Sneak Peek: Site Properties
— The image below shows the Site Properties screen. Many of you are familiar with this screen as the place where you manage the copyright year, the number of levels and items in your flyout menus, footer links, and other custom elements we have built into your templates
- QuantumCMS 4.1 Sneak Peek: Support
— You may have called us for support and found that we ask questions about the web browser you are using. Sometimes you don't even have the number or email address handy.
- QuantumCMS 4.1 Sneak Peek: Dashboard
— As we are working on wrapping up our development work on QuantumCMS 4.1, the image below is a prototype of what site authors/administrators will see upon logging into the authoring tool for their site.
