Community Access Services (CAS), a non-profit organization aimed at the reduction of HIV/AIDS and other diseases affecting the urban population of Buffalo and Erie County through outreach, preventative education, and treatment, has selected Algonquin Studios and its web content management system, QuantumCMS, for the development and design of it’s new site.
Earlier this year, Algonquin Studios launched a well-received responsive site for the Buffalo Pride Festival and, because Community Access Services and the Buffalo Pride Festival are both partners of Evergreen Health Services, the organization’s leadership felt Algonquin Studios was the obvious choice to collaborate on CAS’s new site, as well, thanks to the positive experience they’d had the first time around.
While working with Algonquin on the design and development of the new site, Community Access Services’ main goal was to create a simple, yet welcoming environment where the information and services they provide could be easily disseminated. The newly-launched site features responsive web design that allows the user to view and navigate the site with ease on a wide range of mobile devices.
“It was a wonderful experience working with an organization whose main goal is to support the greater good of the WNY community,” says Michael Belfatto, the Algonquin Studios Web Developer who designed the site. “It was important to CAS that their site visitors felt welcomed while navigating the web site and could easily obtain the information that was relevant to them. The simplicity of the new design ensures that anyone searching for more information on the services, event, and educational resources provided by CAS can find them quickly and easily.
